For a few months Statuo was our "coming soon" product. As of today it isn't: it's available, open to every web agency, with the same promise we started from — it checks your clients' sites from multiple locations, alerts you before your client notices and generates status pages with your brand. 1. Why we built it
Statuo came out of a problem the agencies we work with described to us dozens of times: the client calling to say their site is down. There's no way to take that call back — by then they found the outage, not you. Monitoring exists precisely to reverse that order.
2. No false alarms
Monitoring that cries wolf stops being read after two weeks. That's why an outage is only reported once it's confirmed by several independent locations, within seconds: if a single checkpoint can't reach the site but the others can, the problem is the network, not your client's site, and no alert goes out.
3. Your brand, everywhere
The status page doesn't carry our logo, it carries yours. Your agency's logo, colours and domain: the page lives on status.youragency.com with a simple CNAME. To the end client it's a service from your agency, because that's exactly what it is.
4. Sub-minute alerts, and the SSL certificates nobody remembers
Email or Telegram as soon as something breaks, with the multi-location confirmation already done. On top of that come SSL reminders at 14, 7 and 1 day before expiry: a forgotten certificate is one of the most trivial and most frequent causes of a site going offline, and it shouldn't depend on anyone's memory.
5. Resellable from day one, with nothing to install
There's no agent or plugin to install on your clients' sites: monitoring is external, so you can switch it on even for projects you didn't build. It's designed to go on your price list as a recurring proactive monitoring service, not to stay an internal cost.
